Angels in America

This film is astonishing and unlike anything I've seen. Theatrical and literary. Even though I'd heard so much praise about this movie it still caught me totally off guard. An astonishing rarity. That was 6 hours well spent. I'll give it ★★★★★! Totally blew me away.

Current Top 10 on my iPod

These are what I listen to on commute:

1. Mull Historical Society - TreeScavengers
2. Damien Rice - Cold Water
2. Maroon 5 - This Love
3. The Libertines - Don't Look Back Into The Sun
4. Snow Patrol - How To Be Dead
5. Finnegans Wake (Irish folk song)
6. Whiskey in the Jar (Irish folk song)
7. Ella Fitzgerald - Too Darn Hot
8. Mull Historical Society - Perculiar
10. The Killers - Smile Like You Mean It

Join us ... the Mull Historical Society

One of the many highlights on this trip was meeting Colin MacIntyre from Mull Historical Society (for those not in the know, MHS is a famous indie rock band that he fronts). He played an intimate acoustic set at Fopp in London and I got to talk to him afterwards. He was very nice and drew me a sheep on the CD booklet. He told me to send him some of my songs. Top bloke.
